Homam is the most ancient and sacred ceremony in the Vedic tradition. In the presence of the fire element, Agni, the forms of the divine are invoked by the power of mantras and profound spiritual intention (Sankalpa). Special offerings are cast into the fire while Sanskrit mantras are chanted. The element of fire is associated with the upward motion of the divine energy and is considered to be the most powerfully purifying element.
The vibrations created by the Homa have a profound effect on the atmosphere and surroundings. All homes are performed with an intention of universal happiness and peace: “lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu, Om shanti shanti shanti”, which means ‘may everyone be happy, may there be peace everywhere. Apart from this, every specific homa will have a specific effect or benefits, depending on the type of energy the homa invokes and enhances (the ‘devata’ or divinity invoked). Thila Homam
Thila Homam is a powerful Vedic ritual, performed to ward off difficulties arising out of Pithru Dhosham (Ancestor Doshas), which is the outcome of nonperformance of srardhams, and other rituals performed to propitiate our ancestors. Through this Homam the citrus are satisfied and they bestow their blessings not only on us but also on our children and grandchildren.
Santhana Homam
Santhana Gopala Homam is a powerful remedial ritual dedicated to seeking the blessings of Balagopala, the child manifestation of Lord Krishna to rid oneself of childlessness or any ill effects from Graha Dosha or Drishti Dosha that’s causing childbirth issues in one’s life. This divine Homam is particularly dedicated to Lord Krishna who is the ninth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Sarppa Shanthi Homam
The cause for Sarpa Dosha or Naga Dosha is due to the curse of the serpents. The reason for the same is due to harm caused to them either in current or previous births that get manifested in the form of a curse. The malefic planets Rahu and Kethu cause the affliction. The placement of these malefic planets in one’s horoscope determines the sarpa dosha. The remedy for this dosha is to arrange for the ‘Sarpa Samaskara’. When these pujas are performed properly, the person is free from the doshas and can have a better and peaceful life.
Kasi Yatra’s
Those who go to Kasi yatra should first visit Rameshwaram and take a ritual bath in the holy there has, then worship the Lord Ramanathan. Take some sand from the Sethu shore and offer pooja to the sand idols and take it to Triveni to dissolve it. In Varanasi worship Kasi Vishwanadhar and bring Ganga water to perform Abhishek for Lord Ramanadhar in Rameshwaram which concludes the Kasi – Rameshwaram Yatra.
Kumbabhisekam
Kumbhabhishekam is the process of performing the poojas to the idol deity and transforming it into a powerful deity with all the positive vibrations surrounding it. It also is the process of restoring the depleted power of the deity in the temple. We have very high experience in organizing & performing Kumbabishekam in various cities and villages.
